Through funding and partnerships NCKU Overseas Hub in Vietnam continuously works with the NCKU’s partner focus in the 4 main categories: International Education, Joint research Project, Academy-Industry collaboration and Young talent Cultivation. In 2021, NCKU Overseas Hub in Vietnam organized 11 events total, including: 1 Conference, 1 Workshop (2 sessions for the Practitioners and Students), 1 Training course (in 2 days), 1 Online Job Fair (Webinar and Interview session) and 7 Webinars.

Some outstanding results:

- All the events engaged 34 countries around the world including join in the Cisco and watch the livestream video on FB;

- 12 talented Vietnamese students have been chosen for the “2021 NCKU x Cathay United Bank International Master Scholarship Program” all over 30 scholarships for the students who had nationality from Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos, and Cambodia;

- 1 new term Joint Research Program named “2021 NCKU-UMP Joint Research Program” has been established;

- One grant funding project from Vietnam Hub for the young Researcher in UMP got the 3rd best poster Award;

- The events attracted 1243 participants on Cisco, 122 participants on Teams and 16.500 Views on FB;

- 283 Certificated delivered to the participant who join in the events on Cisco and sent the feedback to the Vietnam Hub;

- 15 strategy partners joined in and supported all the events.
