Warm greetings from the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia.

We are pleased to announce that the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia’s Mobility and Networking Programme for 2023 is now open for application. The purpose of this program is to strengthen research collaboration and knowledge exchange between Malaysian and NCKU researchers. In addition, this programme will be a great platform for knowledge and innovation sharing and academic growth.

Some highlights of the programme include:

1. Successful applicants will receive a minimum daily allowance with accommodation.
2. Length of visit is three (3) working days at NCKU, Taiwan.
3. Opportunity to share research expertise and scientific output through a public lecture session with NCKU members.

Program tentative:

Eligibility of applications:

• Malaysian, PhD. degree holder and an active researcher.
• Full-time staff of any of Malaysian higher education institutions (public/private).
• Research areas of interest include basic science, biomedical engineering, computer science, and energy.
• Applicants with previous or ongoing research collaboration with NCKU researchers are encouraged to apply.

Expected commitment:

This programme targets young ambitious and value-driven researchers with high leadership potential who are committed towards actively promoting collaboration efforts between their department/center/institution with NCKU. Successful applicants are expected to produce a report to NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia by January 5^th, 2024 (Friday), and be involved in a joint webinar series between the matched departments by June 28^th, 2024 (Friday). The joint webinar series event preparation and arrangements will be assisted by the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia.

All the applications will be vetted by a selection committee at NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia and NCKU. The successful applicants will be contacted by 3 November 2023 (Friday).
