We are pleased to announce that the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia’s Mobility and Networking Program for 2024 is now open for application. The purpose of this program is to strengthen research collaboration and knowledge exchange between Malaysian and NCKU researchers. In addition, this program will be a great platform for knowledge and innovation sharing, and academic growth.

Some highlights of the program include:
1.    Successful applicant/s will receive a minimum daily allowance with accommodation.
2.    Length of visit is three (3) working days at NCKU, Taiwan.
3.    Opportunity to share research expertise and scientific output through a public lecture session with NCKU members.

Tentative dates:
1 – 5 December 2024 (including 2 travelling days)

Eligibility of applications:
·      Malaysian, PhD. degree holder, active researcher and not older than 45 years old.
·      Full-time staff of any of Malaysian higher education institutions (public/private).
·      Applicants with previous or ongoing research collaboration with NCKU researchers are encouraged to apply.

Expected commitment:
This program targets ambitious and value-driven researchers with high leadership potential who are committed towards actively promoting long-term collaboration efforts between their department / center / institute with NCKU.

Successful applicant/s are expected to produce a full report to the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia by 6 January 2025 (Monday) and be involved in a joint webinar with your NCKU partner (host) before July 2025. The joint webinar event preparation will be assisted by the NCKU Overseas Hub in Malaysia.
