A Malaysian PhD student, Nurhafiza Binti Zainal is the first to apply for the Double PhD Program jointly held by National Cheng Kung University (NCKU) and University of Malaya (UM) on September 21, 2018. She passed the oral defense of NCKU and UM in 2017, 2018 respectively in the study of clinical microbiology. With her hard work, she benefits from the different fields in which the two schools are proficient. In response to the research subject of the Center of Infectious Disease and Signaling Research(CIDSR), NCKU is dedicated to recruiting international students to conduct relative research and facilitate the production of the studies.
