On February 13, 2025, Professor Dr. Waranun Buajeeb, Dean’s Advisor and Director of the NCKU Overseas Hub in Thailand (MU-NCKU Joint Research Center), together with Assistant Professor Dulyapong Rungraungrayabkul from the Department of Oral Medicine and Periodontology and Lecturer Binit Shrestha from the Department of Prosthodontics at Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry, warmly welcomed Professor Monica Nai-Ying Ko, Vice Dean for International Affairs & Professor at the College of Medicine, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), Taiwan, along with the six representatives from NCKU to Mahidol University Faculty of Dentistry.

The NCKU delegation was then escorted to academic collaboration discussions with the Faculty of Medicine at Chulalongkorn University, the Faculty of Medicine at Thammasat University, the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital at Mahidol University, and the Faculty of Public Health at Mahidol University. Executives and faculty members from these institutions also extended their welcome during the visit, which took place from February 13-14, 2025.

This visit aimed to foster academic exchange and dialogue among faculty members and researchers while exploring potential collaborations in medical education, interdisciplinary research, and student exchange programs. Additionally, the delegation visited medical laboratories to strengthen long-term partnerships that will benefit faculty members, researchers, and students from both countries.
