Continuously, Prof. Meng-Hsun Tsai and Dr. Tran Van Lic gave a presentation about the product of “Remote Patient Tracking and Monitoring System in Hospital Based on Lorawan Wireless Technology” project. Dr. Tran Van Lic is the presenter for his team’s section. He firstly explained why he chose the topic and a chart that compares the LoRaWAN with other technologies.

In this project, they will apply the new wireless technology, LoRa/LoRaWAN has been effectively tested for many IoT applications with the main advantages of long-range and low power consumption, which has solved the above problem and is very popular. It is suitable for patient location monitoring and monitoring systems that can be used in large hospitals, helping to reduce the human load for patient monitoring and monitoring and ensuring safety and efficiency of treatment.

The following team speakers are Prof. Kuan-Zong Fung and Dr. Nguyen Ba Kien. Their presentation was titled “Aqueous Zinc-ion Batteries (ZIBs) for Grib Scale Storage” and “MoS2 as potential cathode materials for ZIBs”. Dr. Nguyen Ba Kien and Dr. Le Quoc Huy firstly gave the participants an overview of MoS2 structure and why they chose the MoS2 as potential cathode materials for ZIBs.

They also introduced their team members and lab’s facilities. In conclusion, for large-scale storage, an ideal rechargeable battery, composed of inexpensive and eco-friendly materials, would safely deliver a large reversible capacity with good rate capability under a wide variety of operating conditions. Owing to their high energy density, lightweight, and long cycle life, lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) are used to power most portable electronic devices.

Prof. Guan-Da Syu and Ms. Huynh Thi Thuy Linh began the presentation with the study of “Research and Development of The Electrochemical Sensor Device for Detecting White Spot Syndrome Virus in Farmed Shrimp”. Ms. Linh presented the block diagram of an electrochemical biosensor system including: Biological recognition element, Transducer and Signal processing system. In this research, they use an electrochemical biosensor to detect white spot disease in shrimp caused by WSSV (White Spot Syndrome Virus). Ms. Linh also showed the primary results and Prof. Guan-Da Syu gave some comments that will help Ms. Linh’s studies are better. Measurements will be made not only at room temperature but also at outside temperature. The final results show that the sensitivity of the device is compared to the PCR results of the same sample at both room temperature and outside temperature. And then, the solution to increase sensitivity is proposed.

Last but not least, team Prof. Pai-Chun Wei and Dr. Le Dai Vuong delighted in sharing their research “Fabrication of (K0,48Na0,48Li0,04)(Nb0,95Sb0,05)O3 lead-free ceramics using Reactive Templated Grain Growth Method”. KNLNS ceramics synthesized by the reactive-templated grain growth methods to achieve enhancements in the piezoelectric response of ceramics suitable for applications. The effect of parameters in the technological process on the texture degree and the dielectric, piezoelectric and ferroelectric properties of textured KNLNS ceramics will be systematically investigated. The optimal lead-free KNLNS ceramics can be selected for application directions in the future. Therefore, this project will develop the new fabrication of ceramic materials with good piezoelectric properties.
