“2023 CREATIVE INNOVATION AND FLASH IDEA” CONTEST

Encouraging the young generation to be creative and innovative is a crucial requirement in education. There is an increasing focus on motivating students’ creativity in academic field. Therefore, a platform that encourages students to apply their acquired knowledge and unleash creativity is really needed at the moment.
Understanding the aspiration of students, National Cheng Kung University (NCKU), NCKU Overseas Hub in Vietnam (NCKU OH), Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) and Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association (HMEA) jointly launched the Contest “2023 Creative Innovation and Flash Idea – CIFI”, with an aim to combine knowledge at university and innovative thinking of students in planning idea and conducting a project. Throughout, the contest will hopefully identify and develop a broad and robust international community of students who have enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurial thinking, as well as recruit young talent and potential students to study at NCKU and tighten the academia-industry collaboration.
The “2023 Creative Innovation and Flash Idea - CIFI” is honored to receive the presence of judging panels from NCKU Overseas Hub in Vietnam; School of Nursing, College of Medicine, NCKU; Institute of International Management, College of Management, NCKU; Department of Biomedical Engineering, HCMUT; Grant Innovation Center, University of Medicine and Pharmacy at Ho Chi Minh; Ho Chi Minh City Medical Equipment Association (HMEA).

Timeline of the Contest:

1. Participants register for the project online via google form (From 03/03/2023 to 07/05/2023).

2. Judges will select proper teams to progress to the Online voting round and Final round.
3. Participants can share and invite their networks to vote for their project on NCKU Overseas Hub in Vietnam’s Facebook fanpage.
4. Announce and award the winners.
A contest submission must address these five scoring areas with a persuasive and interesting presentation. Scoring will be based not only on the proposed solution but also on your approach to presenting your solution to the panel. As with any professional proposal, you control the message you want to convey.
